Frost: The race that is scorned by all others. Their looks are not seen as handsome by any race other than their own. They learn little, have no written language, and have powers that if unleashed could damage entire continents. There are few still alive of this race.
Kar'lee: One of the five races in Itad. They average in height between 5' - 6' and are never over 6' 1". This race is the most abundant in Ponia. The Kar'lee are known for their thirsting of knowledge and for having the most Keepers born to this race.
Labi: A labi is a peasant or commoner, one of the lowest social ranks in Ponia. They are usually poor and put under the thumb of those richer than they.
Mergwerin: The sea people, they are unable to come on land. They live in underwater cities and assist the land races as they may. Little is known about this race.
Peri: A people that enjoys the company of others but like to live in communities of their own kind. They live far longer than the other races but also learn things at a slower rate. Their ears are slightly pointed and their skin can be any color(the colors are all pastel, however, for some unknown reason). They average 6' - 7'. They are known for being diplomats and being close to God.
Ponia: The country Mila and others are from, the country this story focuses on.
Quoga: A country to the south of Ponia.
Urator:(plural is Urators). This is a race that keeps to itself for the most part though some young ones get wild hairs and explore the worlds beyond their homes. They are small, never achieving a height over 4'. They live in underground homes and generally live in deserts. Their skin is thick and dark. They are known for being tough warriors and ingenious creators.
